Could go in many different directions. That's what I like about these short pieces so much promise just have to determine where want to go with it.

I really like it, Olivia. I felt like it was going to lead to an "Aha!" moment right at the end, and it did! Great. Maybe one day we'll get to hear of Teresa Phillips' adventure.

For me this falls into acts of "Write an opening, even if you have no idea what it is." I think about such things a lot. Some day I need to start thinking about endings and work backwards 😆

I’ve heard there are gifted people who can start at the end and write backwards, but they remain as unicorns to me: mysterious and mythical. So are the ones who can write scenes out of order and then stitch them back again.
